Raks Awalim

It’s my pleasure to recommend the beautiful and talented ladies of the Raks Awalim Belly Dance Troupe. They performed at ARCO arena during the half-time show at a Sacramento Monarchs game.  They held the audience’s rapt attention with their colorful costumes and incredible dance exhibition and were an absolutely dynamic and professional group of ladies that would enhance any event.

The audience and I really enjoyed the performance of Raks Awalim at our benefit for Hurricane Katrina victims in September 2005 at Pasha’s in Portland, Oregon.  Raks Awalim is a highly professional, glamorous and exciting belly dance troupe made up of four of the northwest’s foremost young stars of Belly Dance.  These dancers are beautiful, hardworking, experienced, and a pleasure to work with.
